- 3+ years experience with administration of Windows systems (at least the last 2+ years of direct-system support). In that time, demonstrable experience in the full spectrum of standard administrative tasks such as server administration and troubleshooting.
- 2+ years experience with at least any 3 of the following:
• Active Directory
• Exchange mail systems
• Multi-terabyte file systems (preferably Network Appliance Filers)
• Virtual Machine VMWare management
• HP/Compaq servers (preferably DL-360 and DL-380s with iLO)
• IBM servers
• F5 load balancers
• VPN (IPsec and/or SSL)
• Windows Terminal Servers
• Backup systems (including tape technology and database (“live”) backups)
• Microsoft Systems Management Server especially Patching
- 2+ year experience with systems monitoring/management tools (e.g. NetIQ, SMS, MOM)
- 2+ years experience working in a global environment (dealt with issues such as time-zone, system latency, etc)
- Scripting experience (e.g. PERL, WSH) highly regarded.
- Be ready to work in rotating day and night shifts for 40 hour week (1 of 4 shifts, in a 24x7 environment).
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal Mandarin skills.
